He has written novels and short stories for both adults and children.〔Lifi Publication()〕 ==Life== Ramkumar Mukhopadhyay was born in Calcutta〔Muse India of ''History of the people'', Issue. 4, fiction by Ramkumar Mukhopadhyay, Secunderabad: Muse India, 2005〕 () His father was Ramangamohan Mukhopadhyay and mother Kanaklata Mukhopadhyay. He graduated from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (a residential college) at Belur before taking a Masters in English from The University of Calcutta.He did his Ph.D from Jadavpur University. Mukhopadhyay started his career as Regional Secretary,East India, of Sahitya Akademi. Presently he is a member of the Executive Board of the Sahitya Akademi.
